Not having an excuse to leave the house can lead some to stay inside the same four walls every day. It is so important to be mindful of the outside world. One thing we have learned from experience is just how important it is to make the effort to get some exercise. Anything to get moving for at least 30 minutes per day. Enjoy a brisk walk or try an online fitness or yoga class. There are so many wonderful resources that will improve your fitness and general wellbeing.
If you are unhappy with your space then there are many things you can do to improve your surroundings. We want to help people prevent overspill. It is also crucial that your work starts and ends without too much interference with your personal time. One of the hardest things to do as a home worker is switch off, but switch off we must. Make sure you have something to physically and mentally check out at the end of the day. This could be something simple like enjoying a hot drink (try not to rely on alcohol), playing some music or taking a shower. Just something to change your consciousness and stop thinking about work.
